To apply natural remedies with precision it is important to look deeper and evaluate the root causes. Most peoples failure’s in applying natural remedies come because they are using the medical model of evaluation (i.e., modern diagnosis) with natural remedies. This is like trying to fit the proverbial square peg into a round hole. The system of evaluation they are using and the system of recommendation they are applying just don’t line up. Modern diagnosis methods are designed to fit modern prescription, that is drugs and surgeries. That is why we need to use a different set of evaluation skills which we call a health assessment.
At TruHealth, we look at the blood holistically. Medical doctors will look at a single test being out of range, and treat that one factor. However, they usually do not look at the whole picture of what is going on. At TruHealth, we never look at an isolated lab test (such as cholesterol) to make a recommendation based on that one measurement. Instead we evaluate each value in light of the other readings to understand what is happening in the body as a whole.
The body is designed to heal itself IF the proper nutrition is provided. The blood work services we offer at TruHealth are to help you to determine how to best nutritionally support your body and improve your health, NOT to just cover up symptoms. This is done by a local LabCorp professional lab of your choosing
Payment is required to TruHealth up front – no exceptions. Several forms are required to be filled out; you will be contacted via postal mail regarding the details. Once you have given the lab the blood, we will be notified within 48 hours of the test results.
A free 30-minute consult with our Licensed Traditional Naturopathic Doctor is included to go over the results and the areas of concern. We do NOT currently accept insurance for this service.
If you already have a copy of recent blood work that you have received, you can bring that into our Licensed Traditional Naturopathic Doctor for review. This includes a 20-minute timeframe to review your blood work, and areas of concern.
For optimum results, it is recommended that follow-up blood analyses be done at three to six month intervals.
