Parasites –

“Me have parasites in my body?” Yes, it is possible for you to be a host to parasites without you even knowing it. These nasty bugs cause all sorts of diseases including digestion problems, colon issues, diabetes and cancer. Symptoms may include skin problems (eczema or psoriasis), allergies, nausea, headache, indigestion, backaches, constipation, diarrhea, mental disorders and weight problems.

What is a parasite?
A parasite is defined as any organism that obtains nutrients from another living host. They can be microscopic in size or can stretch to 30 feet in length. Worms, like the hookworm, attach themselves to the intestinal wall and live off the host’s blood. The Center for Disease Control considers Giardia, a microscopic parasite, the number one waterborne disease. Any organism, including viruses, fungus and bacteria are technically considered parasites as they live off their host. Many parasites that we host are good for us. For example there is a parasite that lives near our eyelashes that help to keep our tissues there clean. Also, we hopefully harbor millions of beneficial bacteria in our small intestine, that help us build B vitamins, kill harmful bacteria and other bad parasites.. However, there are harmful organisms such as fungus (Candida) and larger parasites such as round worms, flatworms (flukes), tapeworms, and pinworms.

How are parasites harmful?
Parasites feed off your bodes nutrients, leaving your body starving. Your body is more apt to attract disease. They also leave behind toxins. These toxins cause extra work for your organs to keep your blood and body free from additional infections and over toxicity. Parasites also do everything you do; they have babies (lay eggs), eat your food, defecate, and search out toxic areas in your body to live and procreate.

How can I catch a parasite?
You can catch parasites from undercooked meat, fruits, vegetables, fish, candy bars, dairy products, pets, water, insects, dirt, plants, feces, air, people and just about anything else. In fact, you could have parasites from something you ate or drank as a baby. Just like in your garbage can at home, parasites like to live in dirty places. If you keep your body’s immune system in bad condition, the parasite survives and reproduces itself in your most unhealthy organs. However, if you eat only organic fruits, vegetable, whole grains and nitrate free and organic meats – your body is less likely to provide a place for these organisms.

What feeds a parasite?
Not chewing your food helps to attract and feed organisms because the food isn’t digested completely and then sits in your intestines rotting and attracting bugs.

Foods that help feed parasites are:
Any type of sugar (with the exception of Stevia, Agave Nectar, Lo Han, or Xylitol);* dairy products,
white flour;
vinegar products;
yeast products (including breads, packaged sauces, and foods with added yeast for flavoring);
mushrooms;
nuts (with the exception of almonds);
fermented items such as soy sauce, malts, alcohol and packaged meats and canned items (often these contain anti-biotics to keep them fresh).

Also exposing yourself to toxins – (one of the worst toxins is propyl alcohol – which is in most cosmetics), or not keeping your body cleansed internally with organic foods, whole grains and nitrate free meats and pure water with can also create an environment for these organisms. This is not always the easiest thing to do as we are being bombarded daily with billions of dollars of advertising to purchase products that are NOT good for us – to say nothing of the fact that the parasites cause us to have cravings for these bad foods. Remember, it is your body – and you have the right to take it back from these harmful pests!

How do I get rid of harmful parasites?
When you take an antibiotic you kill these beneficial bacteria giving harmful parasites an advantage. So limit your use of these, and if you do feel taking an antibiotic is necessary, be sure to replace the beneficial bacteria in your small intestines. There are many types of beneficial bacteria (also known as probiotics) – and they are not all the same. Make sure the product you are taking is enteric coated or it won’t reach the small intestines because of your stomach acid, unless it is strong enough to do so. Ask your health professional which product would be best for you. You may need to take several to replace what you have killed. Beneficial bacteria are living organisms – and with increased heat they are killed and their life cycle is shortened, so be sure to keep your product in a cool place to increase their life span and keep the product effect for you.

Herbs that help to kill parasites are Herbal Pumpkin, Artemisia, Black Walnut, Elecampane, Garlic, Black Currant Oil, Noni, Cloves, Yarrow and Wormwood. It is best to speak to a health professional to find which herb would be best for you including dosage and what other supporting herbs you may need to prevent organisms from mutating.

Also stop using cosmetics or any type of product that touches your skin with propyl alcohol. This toxic element allows the parasites to grow outside of the intestines giving it an advantage to overtake your body much easier.

Some people go on parasite cleanses only to find that their health problem returns in a few months. This is usually because they didn’t work additionally on their kidneys and liver. If these organs are weak, the parasite will often go hide in these organs, till danger passes, and then reappear. For example, if you have athletes foot, and you take Diflucan or some other drug to kill the fungus on your feet, this drug actually weakens your liver, allowing the fungus to now go hide in there. It doesn’t actually kills the fungus and once you stop taking the drug, the fungus will come back – especially if you keep feeding it and providing it a home.

It is not unusual for a person to have many different types of parasites. Our bodies are big enough to provide homes for these bugs. If they were on the outside of us – where we could see them – we would get rid of them immediately! Unfortunately, we incorrectly assume that nothing is there because we can’t see them.

How can I learn more about parasites?

*Asulfamine Potassium (K), Splenda (sucralose) and Asparatame are extremely toxic creating more toxic conditions for these organisms.
